Collect repayments by card and bank mandate
Loan repayments collected automatically by direct-debit mandate on the customer's card or bank account through Paystack, with retries, deactivation and a full attempt log.
Chasing repayments by phone is the most expensive part of lending. Zenus Banking Pro lets the customer authorise a recurring mandate once, at disbursement, and then charges each instalment automatically when it falls due. Failed charges are retried and logged, and the mandate can be deactivated at any time.
Card and bank collections run through Paystack, with the institution's own keys stored encrypted per bank. Outbound interbank transfers through NIBSS are on the roadmap.
What it does
- Recurring direct-debit mandates set up at loan disbursement
- Automatic charging of due instalments with retries
- Charge attempt log per loan with success and failure reasons
- Paystack collections with per-institution encrypted keys
- Prepaid services wallet funded by card or transfer
- Webhook-driven settlement that is idempotent by reference
How it works
- 1
The customer authorises a mandate during onboarding or disbursement.
- 2
Zenus charges the instalment on the due date.
- 3
Successful charges post to the loan ledger automatically.
- 4
Failures retry and appear on the officer's follow-up list.
